BACKGROUND OF BROOKE

At the young age of 16, in 2010/2011, I was my heaviest at 120kgs. This weight on my body frame did nothing for my self-esteem, mental health or confidence, especially when bullying was a daily occurrence.

Towards the end of 2011, I joined my first gym,  in an attempt to lose weight and try to change my daily habits. I had assistance from a number of Personal Trainers that helped influence me to learn different exercises, better my lifestyle and eating habits.

I decided to study to become a Personal Trainer as there was a part of me and my journey I wanted to share with others, to help educate and become a part of their journeys.

Fast forward to 2019, where weight had fallen off and I'd managed to keep 50kgs off. I started strength training, understanding basic movements and fundamentals.  I found this very empowering.

At the end of 2019, I competed in my first powerlifting competition and I’ve been hooked ever since.  I have competed 4 times and train each week with the intent to improve my performance for when the next competition comes around.

I fell in love with powerlifting as the intent of pushing yourself to the limit, both physically and mentally, to execute on the platform is empowering. There are many mental barriers to overcome and many emotions to hone in on when it comes to the main lifts.

So far my biggest lifts have been:

Squat - 145kg

Bench Press - 87.5kg

Deadlift - 180kg

During Covid, I had spent the majority of time upskilling and mastering my craft.

In 2020 I Started my business - Lady Luck Lifting.

The philosophy behind LLL, and my favourite thing about my job, is empowering other women with the tools to understand their capabilities and their strength. My tailored approach allows women to learn and move freely in a way that's suited to them, achieve their goals and become accountable.

It's such an incredible feeling knowing that my clients, my friends and other women around me in the gym realise how powerful and strong they really are.

  • Face to Face Coaching

    Working with myself face to face out of Anytime Fitness Kallangur & Valhalla Strenght Brisbane.

    We will execute and perform with effort to get the most out of your training and time in the gym to achieve your goals.

    My objective is to help you become more confident, move with intent and learn how to use correct technique for exercises that are suited for you.

    Our main focus together will be on how to effectively execute the main lifts such as Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift.

  • Initial Assessment

    Undertaking an initial movement assessment together, we pin point and enchance your strengths and work on any weaknesses that you may arise.

    Working through Mobility, Stability and Strength.

    Taking into all considerations of your lifestyle, training history, injuries and goals we have a discussion on what you would like to acheive and how I can help.

  • Online Coaching

    Working with myself in an Online setting, you will be supplied with a personalized program to suit you and your goals with updates as required and the ability to track your weight progression.

    Online Coaching weekly/fortnightly check ins also allows you to advise on the progressions, ask questions, have the accountability, motivation and tips.

    Check ins also include feedback and in depth assessment on filmed videos of exercises submitted.

    Goal Setting is a big focus as well to help keep you on track and pivot as needed.
